South Auckland reached an important milestone over the weekend with the opening of the new Drury Train Station, restoring passenger rail services to the area for the first time in more than 50 years.

The station forms part of a wider investment in Auckland’s rail network, including the electrification of the line between Papakura and Pukekohe, improvements to rail capacity and preparations for the opening of the City Rail Link.

Construction at Watermere Residences is now approximately 95% complete, with Code Compliance Certificates and titles the next key milestones.
The homes are expected to be ready for residents to move into from September 2026.
Rather than purchasing from plans, buyers can now walk through the completed homes, experience the layouts and finishes, and see how the development and surrounding neighbourhood have come together.
